Automating Independent Filmmaking
The Atmata Filming Robot has a height-adjustable three-axis camera gimbal mount mounted above it, providing complete camera stability and motion. The mobile base has four omni wheels that provide simple spin functionality as well as flawless translation in all directions. The height-adjustable gimbal camera mount enables both intelligent camera stabilization and user-defined motions during the filming process.
The process of filming can be entirely automated and made simpler using a robotic film maker or camera robot. Motion planning algorithms can be used to produce the camera robot’s trajectory through the use of this robotic filmmaking agent in order to accomplish various shooting objectives.
Learning control algorithms can be used to optimize and stabilize the camera movement. (In potentially hazardous filming conditions, the camera robot enables some avant-garde shots and improves safety for the camera team.)
